In 2011, I came to Canada as an international student.
I came here for my Masters in Financial Services Management. Like many people who start over in a new country, I had big hopes. I wanted to build a better life.
I wanted to make my family proud. I wanted to create a future that felt safe and strong.
Around that time, I also met my wife. She was studying too. We were both trying to build something better for our future.
But life was not easy.
I was trying to pay for school. I had student loans. I was working hard just to make ends meet.
At the same time, my parents back home were counting on me to help support them with the little money I had.
I felt pulled in many directions.
I had to work around the clock. I was tired. I was stressed. Some days, it felt like I was only working, studying, and trying to survive.
I remember thinking, “This is not the life I came here for.”
But I also knew I could not give up. That was the switch for me.

Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I decided to keep moving forward. I took an internship as a peer tutor for students with disabilities.
That experience taught me patience, care, and how to help people who were facing their own challenges.
Later, I got an internship at one of the Big 5 Canadian banks. That helped me support myself while I finished school.
It also taught me more about money, financial planning, and making smart choices for the future.
Those lessons stayed with me.
I learned that when life feels confusing, the right plan can change everything. That is why I care so much about helping families today.
Many families in the Greater Toronto Area are not starting from nothing.
They have worked hard. They have built a life. They have a home. They have children. They have careers. But now their home feels too small.
Maybe the kids are sharing rooms. Maybe there is no quiet place to work. Maybe the kitchen feels crowded. Maybe the family needs more space, but they do not know where to start.
And the biggest question is often this: “Should we buy first or sell first?” That question can feel scary.
I understand what it feels like to be under pressure. I understand what it feels like to make big decisions while thinking about your family, your money, and your future.
That is why my goal is simple.
I help families move up with a clear plan, not fear. I help them understand their numbers, their timing, their options, and their next step. I help them make smart real estate choices so they can move into a home that fits the life they are building.
Because a bigger home is not just about more rooms.
It is about giving your family more comfort, more peace, more space, and a better future.
If your family has outgrown your current home and you feel unsure about what to do next, I can help.
I help GTA families who have outgrown their homes solve the confusion around moving up to create a clear buy-sell strategy in as little as 30 days.

"I had the pleasure of working with Right at home realty during the sale of my property in December 2025 in Georgetown, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated. They guided me through every step of the selling process with clarity and confidence, making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable.
Their communication was outstanding—always timely, clear, and proactive. He went above and beyond to ensure that my property was presented in the best possible way, and their expertise in the market was evident throughout.
Thanks to their efforts, the sale exceeded my expectations.
If you’re looking for a realtor who is trustworthy, attentive, and truly exceptional at what he does, I highly recommend them. They are outstanding in every sense of the word."

"We had the absolute pleasure of working with Right at home realty, and we are truly grateful for her support and guidance. From the very first meeting, they made us feel comfortable and cared for. Their warm personality, patience, and professionalism turned what could have been a stressful process into a smooth and even enjoyable experience.
They were always available to answer our questions, explain every detail clearly, and offer honest advice. They genuinely cared about helping us find the right place - not just any place - and that made all the difference.
It’s rare to meet someone who combines kindness, dedication, and such a strong work ethic. We felt supported every step of the way, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us through this journey.
Thank you, for everything — your help meant more than you know."

"I have been with them now for the past two years. They works relentlessly and such a Akin’s and genuine person.
They never puts you in a bad deal and fight for you as if it was her win. If work had to get done they help to find people whether using bark or homesteads. They don’t ping pong you like others. I am so glad I had listened to my besty who referred them. If it’s a home with space they also help to screen to post and screen tenants.
They are a god sent and know their job well and a great bargainer. It’s hard these days to find genuine and kind people. They don’t just look out for their pocket like most, for a big payout.
Whatever your budget is and better is what they look for you. Never in a million years did I thought I’d be a homeowner. Thank you."

That depends on your finances, current home equity, market conditions, and how flexible your timing is. The safest first step is to understand your numbers and create a buy-sell plan before making offers or listing your home.
The biggest mistake is shopping for a bigger home before knowing exactly how they will sell, finance, and time the move. This can lead to rushed decisions, stressful offers, missed opportunities, or carrying two homes at once.
You need to look at your current home value, mortgage balance, available equity, monthly payment comfort zone, closing costs, land transfer tax, and any bridge financing needs. A clear numbers review helps you know what price range is realistic.
This is one of the main reasons a buy-sell strategy matters. Options may include flexible closing dates, sale conditions, temporary housing plans, or searching before listing depending on your situation and the market.
That can create pressure and financial stress. Before buying first, you should understand your home’s likely sale price, days on market, bridge financing options, and backup plan.
With a clear plan, many families can understand their options and create a practical buy-sell strategy in as little as 30 days. The full move depends on your home, budget, target neighbourhoods, and market conditions.
Not always. Bridge financing may help when the purchase of your next home closes before the sale of your current home. Whether you need it depends on your closing dates, lender approval, and available equity.
Yes. For move-up families, the right neighbourhood is not only about the house. Schools, commute, space, lifestyle, budget, and long-term resale value all matter.
Before spending weekends at showings, you should know your budget, selling strategy, must-haves, preferred areas, financing options, and timeline. This prevents wasted time and helps you focus only on homes that truly fit.
Start with a simple move-up planning conversation. The goal is to understand your current home, your family’s space needs, your financial options, and whether buying first or selling first is safer for your situation.
